Welcome
to Jazcid, a small Persian breed cattery located
in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America. We belong to the Argentinean
Feline Association (Asociación Felina Argentina) that is
registered as FiFe member.
Our
bicolors breeding program is based on three
paradigms: breeding standard, health and socialization.
Our
goal is to achieve cats that meet the breeding
standard. By this mean we are helping to improve the Persian breeding
through selection. That is why we only buy cats from catteries which
work like us. Our job is not only focused on reaching good looking
cats, we also look for healthy cats, breeding negative-tested for PKD
and other diseases.
We
are convinced that besides the future purpose of the
cats (pet, breed or show), they should be a companion and a friend.
That is the reason why socialization is our third paradigm. We breed
few litters and we take care personally and individually of each cat.
We don’t have cages and our cats are free to run in the house and to
sleep on our beds and sofas.
We
have cats from prestigious bloodlines: Harwood,
Candirand, Cotn Hill, Golden Paradise Janmil, Kanoras, Jennapurrz and
others.
OUR GRATITUDE TO:
- All the people who
trusted us to hand
over us their cats, raised with love and care: Eva Plaza y Jordi Molina
from Golden Paradise (España) and specially to our beloved
friend,
Janet Miller from Janmil Persians (USA).
-
- Specially we wanted
to name our friend Amy Peirano, who

Our
veterinary, Dr. María

who looks after our cats health.
- Our

hands for
enlighten our cats beauty.
- We also want to
thank our friends and relatives who
helped us to keep this dream alive by all their support.
At
least, but not last, we want to dedicate this website
to Chichi, our beloved pet. She was our first pet and she taught us to
love the cats. She won a privileged place not only in our lives but
also in our cats lives because she takes care of them with love and
tenderness, beyond breed and gender.
